Jordan Henderson believes Liverpool can happy with their season so far.
The Reds are second on the Premier League table and can qualify for the Champions League knockout round with a win over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
Asked if the setbacks last season have made Liverpool more determined this term, Henderson said: "We've started the season well. Could it have been better? Yes, I think it can be better.
"It could have been worse as well. I think it's a decent start to the season overall, if you look over all of the games in all of the competitions.
"There's still things we want to improve on, but that's always the case and hopefully we can keep progressing, keep learning and keep improving as the season goes on, again."
