Borussia Monchengladbach are eyeing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah for the January market.

The 22-year-old is out of contract in summer 2022, and is yet to sign a new deal which would keep him at the Emirates.

The Sun says Nketiah is 'resigned' to not being involved in manager Mikel Arteta's future plans at the club.

Arteta insisted he wants Nketiah to stay at the club and considers him part of the team - despite transfer speculation - in October, after he starred with a goal and an assist in a 2-0 Carabao Cup victory against Leeds.

But despite two goals in two games in that competition, the record England Under-21 international goalscorer has not yet played a single minute in the Premier League this season.
