Manchester United accept Cristiano Ronaldo plans to play on with Portugal after next year's World Cup.

Ronaldo will be 37 in February but is showing no signs of slowing down on the world stage.

Ronaldo is already Europe's highest goalscorer and most capped player in international football. He has rattled 115 goals in 183 appearances to date.

And the Portuguese skipper has no intention of quitting the world stage as he now targets another monumental personal milestone - smashing the 200-cap barrier, says the Daily Star.

Portugal are still in pole position to reach Qatar. They lead Group A on goal difference from Serbia, who they host on Sunday needing a point to secure automatic qualification.

Even if the 2016 Euro winners do that and go on to be crowed world champions in 12 months' time - and skipper Ronaldo plays every game between now and then - he will still be a handful of appearances short of his double ton.
