Chelsea hero Joe Cole believes England boss Gareth Southgate must be brave with his team selections.
Cole knows that Southgate has a litany of attacking options at his disposal.
He specifically wants to see the likes of Jack Grealish, Mason Mount and Phil Foden starting together.
The trio played in a 1-1 draw against Hungary at Wembley, but Cole believes Southgate must persist and allow them to gel with each other in future games.
Cole told The Sun: "I am still all for Gareth putting his best players out on the pitch to give England the best chance of winning. That includes finding a way to use Mount, Foden and Grealish in the same team.
"Why wouldn't you want those three on the pitch at the same time with the talent they have?
"I didn't pay too much attention to those criticising them against Hungary.
"Grealish came off after about an hour, so they haven't actually had that much time all playing together. And I disagree that playing them as a three doesn't work.
"You need time to gel and make things work. I think Gareth knows that — and I hope that he carries on trying to find a way to use them together on the pitch.
"You can't have players of that quality just sitting on the bench."
