Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) through the Kota Kinabalu Maritime Rescue Sub Centre (MRSC) has launched a search and rescue (SAR) operation following a public complaint on a fisherman who went missing while fishing in the waters of Pulau Dinawan, Kinarut, around 10.59pm, on Tuesday.
Sabah and Labuan MMEA Director First Admiral (Maritime) Mohd Rosli Abdullah said they were notified of the incident around midnight on Tuesday.
