Leeds United goalkeeping coach Marcos Abad has signed a new contract.

His new deal runs to 2025.

The 36-year-old has been with Leeds since 2017 when he was brought in by Director of Football Victor Orta, and has worked with the likes of Illan Meslier and Kiko Casilla during his time at Elland Road.

Abad has frequently been pictured alongside first-team boss Marcelo Bielsa, as well as other members of the Leeds backroom staff throughout one of the most successful periods in the club's recent history.

His new deal, which runs for another three-and-a-half years, could see him remain at the Whites for eight years.
