The former Barca B defender left for Benfica in 2016 and was asked last night about the idea of returning to play for new coach Xavi.
"Barcelona have always been my home and I'm not going to close the door at home. I'm not going to deny it, I will always have Barça in my heart," said Grimaldo.
"I grew up there and it's been one of my dreams since I was very young (to come back to Barça)."
Benfica are at the Nou Camp this week for their latest Champions League group game.
