Former Norway coach Age Hareide was sorry to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sacked by Manchester United.
United are seeking a new manager after the sacking of Solskjaer on Sunday.
Hareide told VG: "It's not nice at all.
"And it's not nice for Norwegian football either. Ole Gunnar is a front figure both on the pitch and on the bench. It's great that he has been the manager of Manchester United.
"He has done a good job. He has found his way back to the soul of Manchester United."
