Instead, Tuchel burst into laughter after being asked if he would ever manage Tottenham after Antonio Conte followed in the footsteps of Jose Mourinho.
With another former Blues boss making the move to Spurs after Glenn Hoddle and Andre Villas-Boas, Tuchel was asked about his future in the dugout, and his response was a telling one.
When asked about the potential switch, Tuchel burst into laughter.
The German then attempted to cover his tracks with a more balanced response by saying: “I have enough to do here. I'm happy where I am."
