Manchester United are not considering offering Cristiano Ronaldo a coaching role at the club.

The Red Devils attacker signed a two-year contract this summer, which includes the option of a third year.

According to the Daily Star, United have not talked to Ronaldo about sticking around after he is done playing.

The Portuguese does have his eldest son enrolled in United's youth setup, but senior figures at United believe Ronaldo will still be playing when his two or three-year deal expires.

There is no suggestion that he would be ready to go into coaching, or that he would want a position at United.
