Newcastle United are showing keen interest in Bayern Munich center back Niklas Sule.
The 26-year-old could become the first superstar to join the Magpies since their takeover by a Saudi Arabia-backed consortium.
According to BILD Sport, Sule does have an interest in the project at the St. James' Park club.
Sule, who can play right-back and centre-half, could add the defensive resilience the Magpies need in their team.
He is out of contract in June 2022, which means Bayern may look to cash in during the January transfer window if he does not renew his deal.
