Valencia wing-back Dmitri Foulquier says the hard work doesn't ease off during the international break.

Foulquier is part of the non-internationals training this week under coach Jose Bordalas.

He said, "We are going to keep on working, harder than ever, in order to keep fit and be ready when the competition resumes. We have a good group, and the only thing we want is to get good results. We're working on that on a daily basis, and we are going to try to improve the many things that we have to improve.

"The group have shown character by fighting back in very difficult situations. We have to keep going like this, and also make sure that these situations don't happen. We want to take points, and we are going to keep fighting until the referee blows the final whistle."

He added: "We are aware that we have many things to improve. It's important to recognise that. We have to concede fewer goals; the numbers are there for all to see. However, conceding a lot of goals is a consequence of many other things, and that's what we are going to work on."
