Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was delighted with Mason Greenwood's impact against Atalanta on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old came off the bench to help United secure a 2-2 draw with Atalanta.

Greenwood played in a role in Cristiano Ronaldo's stoppage time equaliser.

Asked about introducing Greenwood for the injured Raphael Varane, Solskjaer replied: "I felt first half, we didn't get the openings. Our rhythm and the quality of passing wasn't good enough.

"We gave them too many turnovers. Apart from Ronaldo and David, Mason has had a very good season. If he gets man-marked he can get through. We needed a little bit more up front and he definitely provided that quality."
