
PAPAR: The Federal Government has allocated RM1.25 billion for the development of basic amenities in Sabah next year, said Federal Rural Development Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid.
Announcing this, Mahdzir said the amount is higher by 6.5 per cent compared to this year's allocation of RM1.2 billion.
He said his Ministry has approved the allocation to implement 248 projects next year.
Mahdzir also said the Ministry focuses on providing basic amenities like rural roads, rural power and water supplies and building new PPRT homes.
