Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has collected a hamstring injury in victory at Real Sociedad.
Benzema lasted just 16 minutes at Anoeta due to a hamstring problem, although his replacement Luka Jovic scored one and made another as Madrid moved eight points clear at the top of the table.
Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says Benzema quickly made the decision to come off because he didn't want to risk making the problem any more serious.
The Frenchman is likely to miss the Champions League game in midweek against Inter but could return for the Madrid derby against Atletico next weekend.
“Karim has had a problem with his hamstring, it bothered him a little in the game and it don't think he will be fit for Tuesday, but maybe for Sunday," Ancelotti said.
