Lille midfielder Angel Gomes is full of praise for former Manchester United teammate Jesse Lingard.
Gomes left United last year for LOSC, though spent last season on-oan with Boavista.
"He went through a phase when he was underestimated and I had to argue with many about this. Jesse is a joke," Gomes says to the Youtube channel Rising Ballers.
"He went through a tough time and it was like it was the end of the world, you know how it is with football. But then we saw what he could do when he went to West Ham.
"I have never seen anyone who can run at the same speed throughout the match - with and without the ball - and still create things.
"Jesse is the most underrated player I played with."
