Everton boss Rafa Benitez insists Lucas Digne doesn't warrant a place in his starting XI.
Digne was dumped for victory over Arsenal amid claims of a bust-up with Benitez.
But the Toffees manager says: "As a manager you have to make decisions for the good of the team.
"Ben Godfrey could have been a good option for us in this match. He did really well, so I'm happy. That's all..."
Digne is now expected to seek a transfer ahead of the January market.
