Disney’s Christmas short The Stepdad shows what it means to be a family

FAMILY comes in many forms and Disney wants to celebrate that. Its new short film portrayed a stepdad starting out with his new family.

The short was released in November this year and showed the dad moving in during the holiday season. He's nervous about getting along with his two stepchildren and wants them to have a memorable Christmas. 

As in life, sometimes things don't go according to plan. The short film, at over three minutes long, tells the all-too-real story of a stepparent trying to create new adventures with their family.
