Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has eased their injury problems by declaring himself fit for Saturday's clash with Leeds.
But Thomas Tuchel revealed the midfielder will have to play through the pain barrier against Marcelo Bielsa's side. And that could be particularly testing for the Italy international after his manager warned his players they will be pushed to their physical limits by Leeds.
Tuchel said: “He did the last two training sessions and I think he will do what he did the last games, play through pain and do what's needed to be on the pitch."
Kante has not played since limping out of the 4-0 win against Juventus last month, but Tuchel offered encouraging news on the Frenchman's recovery.
“We are always worried when we have to live and play without N'Golo because he is a unique and exceptional player all over the world," he said. “This is my personal opinion. You cannot find a second N'Golo.
“Of course, I am worried, but I would be worried if he was just missing for a few days. Now, it is a slightly too long break and we hope he comes back on Tuesday to team training."
