Liverpool have jumped into the lead in the race to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.
The England youngster has excelled at Dortmund since joining from Birmingham City in July 2020.
Bellingham was then linked to Manchester United, but preferred to go to Germany for a simpler route to regular first team football.
According to the Mirror, all the top clubs in England are assessing his situation with a view to making a transfer move in the summer.
However, the Reds may be the ones in the front seat, as manager Jurgen Klopp wants Bellingham to freshen up his central midfield options.
Dortmund will want roughly £90 million for a player they believe can become one of the best in the world.
