Juventus coach Max Allegri has offered his version of a bust-up with Alvaro Morata during victory over Genoa.

The pair clashed late in the game after Morata had given away a free-kick.

But Allegri insists: "I knew he would have that reaction.

"He was nervous and I said 'I took you off or else you would get another booking'. He said to me: 'I didn't do anything'. And I: 'I understand that you have not done anything, but what do I know?'.

"Then he calmed down and nothing happened."
