Ferran Torres won't be short of familiar faces at Barcelona as he seeks to settle in.

The former Manchester City's attacker €55m move was confirmed on Tuesday.

Torres is a player who not already has a very good idea of the way Barça play, but who has also played with several of his new team-mates before.

It was at Valencia where Torres grew up as a player, making his debut in 2017. He spent two seasons in the same squad as goalkeeper Neto, before the Brazilian left for Barça in 2019.

He played in the same team as Eric Garcia last season, as well as the now retired Sergio Agüero. He and Eric have also played together at three different European Championships, not just the full international one earlier this year, but also the U17 (2017) and U19 (2019) tournaments.

But it's not just Eric who has played together with Torres for Spain. He also already knows what it's like to be in the same team as Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Pedri at the European Championship, as well as Ansu Fati in other games, and Gavi and Sergi Roberto in the Final Four of the UEFA Nations League.

Torres has also played at youth level with Arnau Tenas, the Barça B goalkeeper, as well as youngsters Álvaro Sanz, Jandro Orellana and Iñaki Peña.
