Southampton midfielder Romeu targets winning Christmas run

Southampton midfielder Oriol Romeu believes they can set up their season over Christmas.

Romeu believes they can transform their season with a few victories over the busy schedule.

He told Radio Marca: "The Premier is competitive and it is difficult to add two victories in a row. We have had times when we seemed to find our way, and times when we suffered a little more.

"We are in a low zone, but with a couple of victories we can get hooked to the middle of the table. At Christmas, when we have a lot of games, we have the hope of being able to achieve it because the team has been working well and the feelings are good."
