Leicester City twice came from behind to claim a 2-2 with Southampton at St. Mary's on Wednesday.

Saints went ahead at home after just three minutes when Jan Bednarek reacted quickest when Mohammed Salisu's shot was saved after a corner.

Up the other end, Jonny Evans equalised with a similar goal after Wilfried Ndidi's attempt was saved by Alex McCarthy.

Che Adams restored Southampton's lead just over ten minutes before half-time as he headed home Nathan Redmond's cross.

But the visitors didn't lie down as they equalised four minutes after the restart through James Maddison.

The English playmaker has been regaining form in recent weeks and he took his goal well after cutting onto his right foot and finishing neatly in the bottom corner.

The point moves Leicester up to eighth on the table, while Southampton sit five points above the drop zone in 16th.
