Conor Gallagher says Wilfried Zaha apologised to Crystal Palace's players after he was sent off during defeat at Tottenham.
The Ivorian was shown two yellow cards in quick succession during the first half for a set of fouls on Davinson Sanchez, with referee Jonathan Moss showing no hesitation to reach into his pocket for both offences.
After the game, Gallagher said that he believed the first yellow card Zaha received wasn't a bookable offence, but admitted the sending off made the match a much harder affair for the Eagles.
"A little trip - that's not a booking," said Gallagher when asked about Zaha's first booking.
"The second one maybe but it is what it is - that's football. He said sorry in the changing room after so we're going to forget about it, move on and focus on the next game."
