Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe says they must be realistic about their approach to the January market.
The market will be the first of the club's new owners.
Howe said, “We cannot buy everyone.
"If we signed everyone with whom rumours connect us, then our team would already have about a thousand people. You have to be realistic.
"The players need to concentrate on their future, to show themselves worthily on the field."
