Leeds United fullback Junior Firpo admits football chief Victor Orta was key to his move to Elland Road.
Firpo left Barcelona for Leeds last summer.
He told Marca: "We had many options, I think everyone knows some of the options they had, especially one, very strong, which was Milan.
"Of course, not only because of Víctor. You think about yourself. The same, where one has options to recover what I lost in Barcelona, which was to play and enjoy football, compete and be happy. Because we players depend a lot on what we do on the field for the whole week to be happy at home.
"I decided this also because Victor told me how it was going to be."
