Barcelona sporting director Mateu Alemany has confirmed they plan to be active in January.
However, he also admits they must first sell before buying next month.
After the 1-1 draw at Sevilla, Alemany said: "The winter transfer window? There are a lot of things to do, but immediately we have to deal with 'fair play' (financial).
"We need to complete departures before we can recruit.
"We know very well which players we want, but we must first respect financial fair play."
