Kai Havertz was back in training at Chelsea on Tuesday.
Chelsea meet Brighton tonight in a game they need to win to stay in touch with Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Havertz has not featured since the last-gasp win over Leeds on 11 December, with some of the intervening period spent in isolation.
His return will please manager Thomas Tuchel, who also saw N'Golo Kante in action today having gone off during the second half of our win over Aston Villa with what the boss described as a recurrence of the knee injury he suffered last month.
