PSG have made their move for Chelsea defender Toni Rudiger.

AS says PSG have met Antonio Rudiger's agent as the French giants seek to beat Real Madrid to the signature of Chelsea defender.

Real Madrid have reportedly emerged as the favourites to land the 28-year-old centre-back on a free transfer next summer, with Los Blancos holding positive talks with the German over a move.

But PSG hope to hijack any potential deal and have already held talks with his agent and brother, Sahr Senesie.

Rudiger will be free to agree a pre-contract from January 1 if no deal is reached with Chelsea. Several clubs have shown interest including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and Manchester United.

Rudiger has been locked in negotiations with the Blues over a new contract and the European champions face a race against time to strike terms, with his current deal expiring in the summer.
