Manchester City have no intention of breaking their wage structure to secure Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

The Norway forward is one of the hottest properties in Europe, as a release clause in his contract goes active in the summer transfer window.

However, Sport in Spain suggests that the 21-year-old may not be coming to the Etihad Stadium club anytime soon.

Haaland and his agent Mino Raiola have significant financial demands, while City are not prepared to push the boat out to secure the youngster.

The likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain are all linked to Haaland as well.
