Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi has apologised to fans after victory over Genoa.
Acerbi scored in the 3-1 win on Friday night.
After the goal, he put his finger to his lips, though later insisted he made a mistake.
Acerbi said: “Hello everyone, I made a wrong gesture this evening. It was purely fuelled by adrenaline and was not a lack of respect.
“I am sorry, but you know how much I care about Lazio and the fans. I send you all a big hug and always Forza Lazio. Goodnight."
