Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti has welcomed their Champions League draw with Liverpool.
Inter and Liverpool will meet later in the season for the round of 16. Inter were to meet Villarreal before the draw was re-held due to technical errors.
Zanetti said: "There is regret for what happened, but it is useless to comment on it because they we have seen everyone. We accept what we have been assigned.
"We will face a very strong team, with a great tradition. But we are Inter and our history is no less. There is the pride of having qualified for the second round.
"Now we will have time and ways to better prepare for the match against the English. And as always, the details will be important."
