Wolves were left to rue missed opportunities after a goalless draw with Burnley on Wednesday.

Bruno Lage's side could have leapfrogged Arsenal into fifth position on the table with a win.

But they will look back on a drab affair with frustration as Adama Traore twice came close to breaking the deadlock.

The Spanish winger has yet to score in 14 appearances this season, and his streak continued after striking the underside of the bar in the first-half.

Traore also had an effort touched around the post in the second half by Nick Pope.

Burnley now move up to 18th on 10 points, above Norwich City on goal difference.
