Morocco coach Vahid Halihodzic is adamant Ez Abde must join their African Cup of Nations squad.
It's been suggested despite his selection, Abde doesn't want to leave Barcelona for the coming month.
However, Halihodzic says: "He is very proud to play for Morocco, so we will talk to his coaches, the president and the sporting director, because they cannot forbid him to come as he is available.
"We will try to reach a friendly agreement, where we explain things and find a solution that is acceptable to everyone.
"He's going to play and he's almost a starter. I have selected him because he plays for a team like Barcelona. I have also spoken to him twice and he is very eager to join."
