Arsenal are making a move for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria.
With his contract due to expire in June, Gladbach management are considering selling the Switzerland international next month. The Germans would seek around €6m to allow Zakaria to move on.
Fussball Transfers says Arsenal are in contact with Zakaria's agents and would prefer he run down his deal and move to London in a Bosman transfer.
For his part, Zakaria favours leaving Gladbach for the Premier League.
And despite a raft of teams keen, it is Arsenal who are furthest down the road to signing the midfielder.
