Barcelona management have told Ousmane Dembele he has 15 days to commit to a new contract.
Mundo Deportivo says Barca want an answer from Dembele before the January market and have set him a deadline.
The attacker's deal expires in June and if he refuses to commit by the 15th of December, Barca will be seeking to sell him to the highest bidder in January.
Manchester United and Newcastle United are among clubs keen, though would prefer to take Dembele on a Bosman in June.
However, Barca are determined to raise cash by selling the Frenchman rather than allowing him to run down the final six months of his contract.
