Inter Milan ultras have made it clear to Romelu Lukaku he's not welcome back.

The Chelsea striker has opened the door to a return to Inter in a controversial interview this week.

But the apologies and the recent comments by Lukaku were not appreciated by the Inter fans, who reacted by placing a banner on the gates near the San Siro, saying he "ran away" to the Premier League in August.

The sign read: "It doesn't matter who runs away in the rain, it counts who stays in the storm. Bye Romelu".

Inter's fans have long felt Lukaku betrayed the club by leaving last summer and have since moved on with Lukaku's replacement and new No 9 Edin Dzeko.
