Everton chief Marcel Brands clashed with fans after defeat to Liverpool at Goodison Park.

A heavy 4-1 defeat - their sixth in seven outings - saw tensions among supporters finally boil over as they took their frustrations out on the players and the board.

One video circulating on social media showed a fan directing his anger towards director of football Brands after full-time.

The supporter could be heard asking the Dutchman if he had recruited the players out on the pitch, asking "What do you think of that?' and 'Did you recruit them?" before labelling the performance "absolutely s***" and telling the 59-year-old to "Get out of our club".

Brands responded to the man by asking: "Do you think it's only the players?"
