Rangers star Glen Kamara is the subject of interest from former boss Steven Gerrard.
The ex-Liverpool midfielder, who is now in charge at Aston Villa, wants to bring Kamara to the Premier League.
According to TEAMtalk, the 26-year-old could reunite with Gerrard as early as the January transfer window.
Kamara is seen as someone who can easily deputize for the absent Marvelous Nakamba at Villa.
Nakamba is currently recovering from injury, and is not expected to be fit for another four months.
