Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick is moving to block Donny van de Beek from moving away next month.

The midfielder appears to be in the plans of the German boss and is set to stay at Old Trafford.

The Mirror says Rangnick values Van de Beek and will keep him at the club.

The former Ajax man played the full 90 minutes as United completed their group stages of the Champions League last week with a 1-1 draw against Young Boys.

Since Rangnick took the helm, the 24-year-old also came off the bench late on during his side's Premier League victories over Crystal Palace and Norwich.
