Barcelona president Joan Laporta was seen in talks with agent Mino Raiola earlier this month.
Laporta and Raiola met in Turin at a hotel ahead of the Golden Boy ceremony, reports Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
They spoke about various players on Raiola's books, from Paul Pogba to Erling Haaland.
Laporta and Mateu Alemany were not with Barcelona's group when they arrived at their hotel. They were meeting Raiola to find out about his clients and their availability.
Haaland is one that clubs across Europe will try and sign. He is a killer striker with 74 goals in 73 games for Dortmund.
