
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah made it three wins in a row with the 8-0 hammering of Sarawak in the Malaysian Junior Hockey League (MJHL) tournament in Bukit Jalil on Wednesday.
Free-scoring Muhd Salman Sudirman showed his deadly finish in the tournament again with four goals in the 2nd, 10th, 20th, and 33rd minutes.
He has scored nine goals in total so far following his hat-trick in the opening 6-1 win over Hokeylah HC I and another two in the 3-0 victory against Negeri Sembilan on Monday.
The other goal scorers against Sarawak were Muhd Izaz Afdhaal in the eighth and 19 minutes, Muhd Faiz Aiman Mohd Aeri in the 25th minute and Mohd Azlar Mustaming in the 52nd minute.
Their next game is against Franciscan HC this evening (December 17).
