The joy of a teenager from Melaka on holiday with his family members at a resort here ended in tragedy when he suddenly collapsed before passing away. A vacation trip for a family from Melaka to a resort in Bentong, Pahang ended in tragedy when their 16-year-old son suffered a cardiac arrest at a haunted house.
The 16-year-old Muhammad Suhairil suddenly fell and lost consciousness due to shock after entering a haunted house. Bentong Police Chief, Superintendent Zaiham Mohd. Kahar said the case was classified as sudden death and the victim's body was sent to his family home in Melaka.
Based on the autopsy, it was discovered that the teen suffered from congenital heart defects. A video footage taken from the incident showed the victim's pale physique after the heart attack, to which he had to be carried outside of the haunted house.
His friends kept telling him to breathe and calling his name, but the teen did not respond. May the soul of Muhammad Suhairil rest in peace.
