Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount revealed that manager Thomas Tuchel had some words with the players during an early pause in the game.
The Blues' clash in the Premier League against Watford on Wednesday was stopped in the 11th minute due to a fan having a health issue in the stands.
When play resumed, the Blues improved, and went on to win the game 2-1 through Mount and Hakim Ziyech's goals.
"He said some firm words to us in the dressing room and it got us going," Mount told Amazon Prime Video after the game.
"We know that as a group, but obviously he said it. As individuals, as leaders in the group, we knew we didn't start enough.
"For 11 minutes, we did not keep the ball, or have it in their half. We knew individually."
