TAMBUNAN: An unidentified man stabbed a supermarket clerk here and took away RM120,000 in cash from her, police said.
Keningau Police Chief DSP Nor Rafidah Kassim said initial investigation found the clerk and her friend had parked their vehicle in a parking lot in town and walked towards a bank but the woman later turned back alone to take her Mykad from the car.
“While the woman was in the car to pick up her Mykad, an unknown man approached her from behind and banged her head on the steering wheel and stabbed her with a knife before fleeing with the cash in the victim's bag," Rafidah said.
