
Juventus striker Fede Chiesa has been named Italy's 2021 Player of the Year.
Italian fans were given a shortlist and over 8,000 votes came in to the official Italian Football Federation (FIGC) website from December 14 to 30.
Chiesa emerged as winner with 46 per cent of the vote, beating Inter Milan midfielder Nicolò Barella on 20 per cent and Roma full-back Leonardo Spinazzola with 14 per cent.
The other names on the shortlist were Gianluigi Donnarumma and Lorenzo Insigne.
