Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah China Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) has been urged to attract Chinese investment to develop Sabah into an agro-industry base to supply the BIMP-EAGA market (Brunei Darussalam–Indonesia–Malaysia–Philippines).
Special Tourism Advisor to the Chief Minister Tan Sri Chong Kah Kiat said BIMP-EAGA has been established for close to 30 years but little progress has been made so far.
