Chelsea midfielder Jorginho says the Premier League should expand the permitted substitutions from three to five.
Jorginho has joined manager Thomas Tuchel in his complaint after their 1-1 draw with Brighton - this despite the majority of Premier League clubs voting against it at the start of the season.
Jorginho said, "It is very difficult, because the players do not have time to rest.
"We need to play every three days, and we have only three substitutions. It's madness that the Premier League doesn't have five replacements. If this continues, there will be more injuries. The high number of injuries can reduce the quality of football.
"Probably, it is worth paying attention to this issue."
