Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's status will be discussed soon.
The Gabon international was stripped of the captaincy and made unavailable for selection for Wednesday's win over West Ham United.
The Gunners more than survived without Aubameyang, winning 2-0 to take fourth-place on the table.
Asked whether Aubameyang will be considered for the next game: "He wasn't eligible for this game and that's it.
"This game is gone. We will discuss it in the near future."
On the performance in general, Arteta added: "They were fully focused. They wanted to show how strong we are as a team. The performance, the attitude and the commitment they showed today is exactly what we are as a club.
"I expect it from every player - to stick to our values. We will talk about that another day. Today I want to talk about the game."
